How should you take Robaxin?

Take Robaxin exactly as prescribed. Do not take a larger dose or use more often than directed.

If only an hour or so has passed, take it as soon as you remember. If you do not remember until later, skip the dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.

It is not known if this drug appears in breast milk. If this medication is essential to your health, your doctor may advise you to discontinue breastfeeding your baby until your treatment is finished.

The usual starting dose is 2 tablets taken 4 times a day. The usual long-term dose is 1 tablet taken every 4 hours or 2 tablets taken 3 times a day.

CHILDREN

The safety and effectiveness of Robaxin have not been established in children.
